Finishing Up the Semester!!

Had the last English class for the semester! Erin needed to go see her counsellor so Maki and I got there really early and a bunch of our classmates were already there so we were 'talking story' for quite a bit; talking about the upcoming holidays and our plans for next semester. Today's English class was writing an in-class analysis paper on a story we had read for homework. An interesting story but the analysis was a bit hard. :S I hope I did ok... but even if I didn't do 'superbly', I'm still probably getting an 'A' for English. ^_^ I'll be meeting with my teacher sometime next week to get my grade from her personally.

Afterwards, it was kind of sad saying good-bye to some friends I had made in the class; one is not coming back for the next semester, another is going into another field of study, and another is going back to the mainland. Well, I might see some other classmates around; Nichelle for sure is taking one class together with me next semester and I know a few other people I'll be seeing around.

For lunch, made quesadillas and did some computer before heading off to math class next. We had to do the evaluation thing this time for math and I volunteered as student monitor. :P That means I had to pass out the papers, make sure everyone returns the papers, then later on take the filled out forms to the campus office (the teachers aren't allowed to be in the room when the students fill out the survey and not even allowed to touch the envelope that contains filled out forms). So I was a very important person! lol, jk. Anyway, class was fairly easy, working on some probability questions which Mr. Astromoff said were pretty difficult and that if we could do it, then we should have no problems on the test. It was actually pretty easy and I got all of them, albeit a slight stupid mistake on one of the questions. :P

Today was the last ballet class where we go through all the exercises. After the class, being very 'Japanese' (:P), I asked if I could take a class picture. One of the people for the next class after ours was nice enough to take the picture for us. A few people are missing, but this is pretty much the group. My teacher is the red on the left side; Nichelle is leaning down in the front with the grey pants; the Japanese girl on the very right (pink skirt) is Misato who'll be taking JPN 298 next semester; my right hand is on Kari who's also taking History 151 with me this semester; the girl next to Misato is Rachel who's a Christian and goes to another church. I could talk about everyone in the picture but I'll stop now before I bore all of you. :P Sharon was commenting on how this class was one of the best she's taught yet; we really worked well together and all became such good friends.

Went home and relaxed the rest of the afternoon before helping Naomi to prepare for dinner a little later on. Also walked to Times supermarket to get some Sweet Chili Sauce to go with the spring rolls Naomi made. ^_^ Gotta love it!

Tomorrow I have my last History and ASL classes. Wow, time is flying by so quickly, it's Thursday tomorrow! And only 12 more days till I'm going back home!
