Another School Week Gone By (Except for One More Class Tomorrow...)

I'm so happy because as soon as I woke up this morning, I was able to finish up my history paper without any troubles! So different from last night... :P Printed it out and was all ready to go for the morning's history class. Today's class was interesting; had a book quiz on The Theban Plays then had an interesting discussion about the Chinese practice of 'foot-binding'. It was pretty gross to listen to... *shudder* It's incredible that they only stopped 'foot-binding' in 1902... just a little over one hundred years ago!!

Went home and had a nice lunch. Went to ASL class and again, Ami couldn't make it so Crissy was our sub teacher. She handed us an e-mail Ami had written for the class about the reasons she hasn't been able to make it for the past few weeks. It seems that her family is going through a very difficult time which we were all sad to hear.

After class, went home and was able to relax and just do some surfing on the internet. When Maki came home from her class, we went to wash the car which took a little time. I also cleaned the insides a bit, too. ^_^

Had lasagna for dinner which was very yummy then we had our weekly prayer meeting. We've been having the prayer meetings in Maki's and my room recently because it's much cooler than in the living room. :P

Meeting over, I was able to finish reading the movie novelization of Serenity. The book was well written I though, delving into the characters' minds well. I'm excited to watching the movie again when the dvd comes out later this month...

Off to bed now! So nice that I'll be able to sleep in though I have babysitting from 10:00. Ciao!
