Sooooo Much Shopping Done Today
Naomi made a delicious Sunday breakfast for the four of us: toast, eggs, and sausages. ^_^ It's nice being able to eat breakfast together before having our morning service. Today, Erin led worship and then we started listening to Mr. Imamura's sermon, "Experience of the Desert." It was annoying though because partway, our neighbor starting cutting the grass outside with a very LOUD machine. :P So we paused the cd and had to go into Maki's and my room to finish up without the noisy distraction.
After the service, relaxed just a little while in our rooms before heading right to Kahala Mall. While waiting for our table at California Pizza Kitchen, we shopped a bit at Macy's and then at Gap. CPK's food was really delicious as usual and I love their jambalaya spaghetti, which I get most every time I go there now. :D
Stopped by Claire's to buy some stuff then Erin and Maki stayed at Kahala while Naomi and I drove over to get some other shopping done. First went to the Logos bookstore where I was able to buy a few gifts. Then went to Walmart where got plenty more Christmas gifts. ^_^ I won't spoil anyone's surprise, but I'll definitely say that I got some really nice gifts for some certain people.
It was funny going out back to the parking lot because it has been raining like crazy outside, and there was a HUGE area in the parking lot where it was flooded with water! About 4 inches! So Naomi and I had to make a wide circle to avoid stepping into the water. :P
Went back to Kahala and stopped by Tower Records before meeting up with Erin and Maki. I was so happy because I found the DVDs Maverick and F-Troop, two old tv shoes from waaaaay back. It was really cheap and each DVD contains the best episodes from the whole tv shows. Can't wait to wach it! I'm already humming the F-Troop theme song. :P Very catchy...
Got back and was sooooo tired from shopping all afternoon. Completely relaxed in my room, just doing some computer then chatting with some people. For dinner, Erin made some gyoza which was nice. Afterwards, I watched the movie Stanley and Iris which I had borrowed recently. It was a very so-so movie; pretty slow and a bit melodramatic but the saving grace was that Robert DeNiro was in it. ^_^ He's such a great actor and he played such a nice, 'clean' character which I liked a lot. Very different from his bad guy role as Al Capone in The Untouchables. :P Plus he had gained a lot of weight for the Al Capone role so it was funny to see him so 'skinny' in this movie. A definite one-time movie.
*Groan* It's already a little past 11:00! I'll be off to bed in a few minutes. Another week, just another week of school! Ahhhhh!! So excited! Then in two weeks, I'll be home!

Oooooh, yeah, I like shopping, but only if it's my stuff or buying presents for people. But it can be tiring.
