Penultimate Is Such an 'Interesting' Word

The title comes from what my two teachers have said in the past two days about having the 'penultimate' classes for the semester. :P So funny because most people had no clue what that meant. :P (for those who don't know, it means next to the last).

The morning I woke up and since Maki was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake her, I went to the living room and watched an episode each of F-Troop and Hogan's Heroes. Very relaxing morning...

Went to history class and I almost got all tense because the parking lot was so crowded I thought I would miss the beginning of class. :P Fortunately, a good spot opened just in time so that we could make it to class with a few minutes to spare. It was a good thing, too, because we had a quiz so I was able to study a bit before taking it. Very easy, all on China. After the quiz, learned about the Mongols which was pretty cool. Genghis Kahn... *I am Shiwan Khan, last descendant of Genghis Khan!!!* (for those who know The Shadow, that's one line which kinda cracks me up whenever I watch it. :P)

Got home and had a nice lunch while watching Hogan's Heroes. Next went to ASL class and we were all so happy because Ami was able to come! She's such a great teacher and I like the way she signs (she's the only teacher who grew up using ASL compared to the others who learned later on in their lives). Class was going over what we've learned over the semester. Only one more class, then this Friday Naomi and I are taking our individual ASL finals. Hopefully it won't be too difficult. :P

Naomi wasn't feeling too well so after class, we went home and watched F-Troop then I went to my room and watched Stacy's Knights which I had recently borrowed. A really boring movie; the only good thing about it was that it had a young Kevin Costner, but he gets killed later in the movie! :S Grr... me no likey...

Was able to chat with a few people then since it was Maki's and my turn to make dinner (Tuesdays), I baked frozen pizza. :P We haven't gone grocery shopping in a while so not much food in the fridge. But after dinner, Naomi and I did go to Times supermarket to get groceries. So now we're all stocked up!

I had been sooo excited to watch a new episode of House, M.D. tonight but unfortunately, it was pushed to next week because of some dumb 'music awards' thingie. AHHH! Mou, so unfair... So instead, watched the first Horatio Hornblower movie which Ericson had been nice enough to lend me. Ioan Gruffudd stars in it (some might know him as Mr. Fantastic in The Fantastic Four).

Tomorrow I'm going to have my last English class! Hurray! Also my last math and ballet classes, too, though I still have finals for each class. ^_^ The semester is almost over!

LOL, yeah, I love that line in "The Shadow"! So funny...though it's meant to sound imposing. :P

Aaah...Ioan Gruffudd. I liked him in F4, my favorite character, though I don't quite know how to pronounce his name.
