My Mind is Filled With History
It's been a while but today I walked to class today. ^_^ I kept a very good pace, getting there in 20 minutes and arriving fifteen minutes before class. I good thing that I got there early though so I could catch my breath completely before class started. :P Today was another really fun class as we learned more of Japanese history which was all quite fascinating. He also gave a little lecture on how to prepare to write our report on The 47 Ronin Story which is due a week from today.
After class I went with Nichelle to the library and I helped her out with her Japanese studies for a bit. Went to the International Cafe and since hardly anyone was there at all (it seems this week is only for signing up), I just left with Maki whose class had been canceled.
Went home and had a nice lunch. Then the rest of the afternoon was spent intently working on history. ^_^ REALLY! from about 1:30 to about 6:30 I was working on my chapter quiz essay and got to work on my history essay. Got a little over halfway done which is good.
Erin made dinner today of Kailua pig wrapped in lau lau leaves; she had also got poki which was very delicious. Mmmm... very 'Hawaiian' dinner tonight. ^_^
After dinner, spent a little more time doing some writing then Naomi and I decided to get out of the house for a bit. We walked to a little cafe/restaurant about a ten minutes walk from our house and got some dessert. Blueberry cheesecake and some kind of pear dish with VERY good vanilla ice cream. ^_^ It was a nice time to spend with just the two of us.
Got home and spent the rest of the time on the computer, alternating between relaxing by playing some games and writing. Today... I shall go to bed early! :P Oh, well, at least earlier than usual. Good night!
