Gotta Love Saturdays!

Since I was up so late last night, slept in until past 10:30. ^_^ *sigh* That was so nice to be able to do that without worry about being late for something or having to do something. Today was a very, very lazy day.

Checked some e-mails, did some net surfing, then ate lunch while watching The Worst of American Idol which I had borrowed from Netflix. I must say, that was very fun to watch; so much of it was laugh-out-loud hilarious! And it's not just the contestants who are so bad that it's funny (some are so bad it's NOT funny, making it even MORE funny) but the judges' expression and reactions was what was the funniest thing for me. Simon especially cracks me up...

The whole DVD (including all the special features and extended auditions) was a little over 2 hours long but stopped halfway so that all of us could do our weekly cleanup. The house always smells so... clean aftewards. Though I can't decide if I like the clean smell or not. lol! Sometimes it just makes my nose feel 'twitchy' for a few hours. ha ha!

So after finishing up the DVD, worked the rest of the afternoon on my story. It's progressing slowly. I also went over my old stories which I started but never finished. ^_^ None of them published and I haven't let anyone read any of them. I had forgotten so many of them so it was actually fun to read and remember my ideas for so many different stories. The Lord of the Rings version of Much Ado About Nothing was a pleasant surprise to find; I think I may have to start writing it again. ^_^ AFTER I finish the story I'm working on now... *wink!*

For dinner had leftover pizza from last night and watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It's been SUCH a while since I've seen it! Brought back memories of when I tried to choreography the dances from the movie. :P I still remembered all the brothers' names and could place all the faces with each of their names! Pretty good I must say. ^_^

Finished up my Louis L'Amour book and got started on Timothy Zahn's Angelmass. Tomorrow's begins another new week! Off to bed now; to bed, to bed!
