~A Moooooment Like Thiiiiiis~

Another walk to school day and I made it to the campus in a little under twenty minutes! That's very good time, considering I'm going at a kind of slanted upslope. My goal: to get to class in just under twenty minutes without being too much out of breath. lol

I turned in my first paper for the semester (graded paper) and hopefully I'll get it back with a pretty good score. Also had the book quiz today which was pretty easy and I think I got it all correct. Got back my quiz from the last quiz and had 1/2 a point off for something I didn't quite answer fully. Oh, well, still pretty good. I was flattered when my teacher pointed me out a few time to his 'newer' students about how well his 'older' students do when they start finding 'patterns' az to how to prepare for quizzes and write essays which he'll give good grades. ^_^ Yay!

Stopped by International Cafe to sign up for some activities including... a Japanese tea ceremony class! An interesting activity for me to join, huh? Well, it sounds REALLY interesting and I think I'll enjoy it quite a bit.

Walked home and worked on my practice map for the map quiz I'll have next week for history. Naomi, Maki, and I went to McDonald's to buy some lunch. Ooooh... Big Macs! Haven't had those in quite a while.

Ate lunch and watched a short movie before beginning my 'afternoon studies'. Worked all on my Japanese papers which I completed. Also read a bit of the paper I have to write an essay on for my History class (about Rockefeller now; hopefully finished Carnegie). :P

Erin made dinner of unagi and salmon. For Theater class we'll be acting out our own 'American Idol' and since neither Maki nor I have ever watched 'American Idol', we caught tonight's show. And I must say, I understand completely why it's such a big hit! I really enjoyed it and thought it quite fun. And I absolutely Simon Cowell though he's known as being brutally honest, earning nicknames like 'Mr. Nasty' and 'Judge Dread'. lol! But I love his wit and sarcasm though he can be quite... honest. :P Plus, he's British so his accent matches perfectly his dry humor. (In case you can't guess who Simon is, he's the haole guy. :P)

After the show, I decided to go online and find any American Idol videoclips. And I found some video clips of the "Worst of American Idol"... and all of them were hilarious! There's this 'famous' auditioneer named Mary Roach, nicknamed 'Scary Mary' for her audition. And she seriously thought she was good though Simon was perfectly right when he told her that she "has the weirdest voice I've ever heard in my life." lol!

Got to video chat with my mother a little bit and she helped me with my Japanese homework so I'm happy that it's definitely 'done' now. ^_^ Off to bed; tomorrow's a three class day. Till tomorrow!
